How To Use QUAID
This is a system for giving
feedback on questionnaire items. A variety of computational linguistics
techniques are used to locate potential problems in questionnaire items, and
point them out to the user.
The three text
areas are for your input.

The question area is for the
focal question of an item.
-
The context area is for any
additional clarifications or instructions to the response to the respondent
(not to the questioner) (optional).

The response area is for the
response items (optional).
1. Type in
your question, context (if any) and response items (if any).
2. Click on
the submit button to get the feedback message.
NOTE:

You can
modify your question, context and response items and click on the submit
button to get a new feedback message.

You can
also click on the clear button to begin a new question.

On the
right of the page, there is a list of 5 possible feedback problems.

Click on
any of these problems to get explanation of the problems in detail.
